Cold weather no excuse not to swim at Ciudad Patricia

Now the weather has turned colder Ciudad Patricia has reopened the indoor heated swimming pool. It is currently heated to 31 degrees.

Do Black Squirrels Exist In Spain?

Just recently one of our residents reported seeing black squirrels and decided to do some interesting investigative research.

Friends Forever

Daph and Kathy have recently moved into 2 different buildings in Ciudad Patricia both have wonderful views of trees an mountains. They both came from the same area close to Torrivieja. Maybe it's more than chance that they've continued their friendship here at Ciudad Patricia.

Not Bad Eh?

The annual paella fiesta party had a record number of residents join in the celebrations this year.

Cartagena Trip to the south

On Wednesday 18th May over 40 of our residents enjoyed a trip to the beautiful town of Cartagena.

They visited the company Liquor 43 which is the home of the very famous drink only made in Cartagena. They also enjoyed lunch out, at restaurant Arqua which is situated right on the port of Cartagena. They also had the opportunity to visit the underwater museum.

BBQ Time at Ciudad Patricia

On Thursday 26th May over one hundred residents enjoyed the wonderful ambiance created once again by the manager of the resort, Nadine Sweers.  The annual BBQ set in our beautiful gardens is one of the many parties Nadine organises for our residents.

Blossom Tour Excursion

The famous almond blossom in the Jalon valley came out much earlier this year. Due to a few more raindrops and unusual warm winter temperatures. Some has said the temperatures this January were the warmest in 61 years. This year 52 residents made the annual trip much earlier than usual on the 2nd February.
