On Sunday 8th November 2015, Ciudad Patricia held a concert to not only mark Remembrance Day, but to also support the charitable aims of the Royal British Legion.

Summer Paella Party

Many of the residents enjoyed the annual paella party set on the cool terrace with stunning views over the mountains. A perfect setting for a party with a real Spanish atmosphere.

Marie's Story

My husband, John, and I recently moved to Ciudad Patricia. We’ve lived in some rather exotic places but are now so happy to call Ciudad Patricia ‘home’. We wish we’d discovered it when we first moved to Spain. We’ve had an interesting life and I’d like to share some of our story.

Summer Barbecue

On the 28th May, we held our annual barbecue. This popular event has become a firm fixture on Ciudad Patricia's event calendar. This year over 100 residents along with some close friends once again enjoyed some wonderful outdoor food, along with live music and dancing.

Blossom Tour

On Wednesday 4th March the yearly blossom tour was on the program of activities. The residents of Ciudad Patricia could reserve a ticket for this lovely tour to the mountains and valleys inland of the Costa Blanca. At 11 in the morning the residents were picked up with a luxurious tour Bus.

Mayor of Benidorm Opens New Indoor Pool at Ciudad Patricia

Swimming has long been recognised for it’s health benefits, and whilst Ciudad Patricia’s has long benefitted from it’s outdoor pools, it gets a bit chilly from October through to April. So with this in mind, work commenced just over a year ago on their new indoor swimming pool and last Saturday (29th November) saw it’s grand opening.

Costa Blanca: Healthiest Region In Europe

The Costa Blanca has been recognised as the healthiest region to live by the World Health Organization (WHO). With more than 300 days of a year of sunshine, you can enjoy agreeable temperatures the whole year through. The annual average temperature is 18º, which means that in the summer the temperature isn´t extremely high, and the temperature in the winter will be relatively warm.

The Road to Happiness

This is the story of Mr. & Mrs. Van Berkel who discovered Ciudad Patricia 6 years ago and finally moved in, in 2013.

Mr and Mrs Van Berkel from Holland, recently moved into their new apartment in Ciudad Patricia. The story of how they came to be here is really very interesting and shows that it really is a ‘small world’.
